Couples With Sway
Dwayne & Tamla Morgan
How did you know she was the one?
I took some time to really get to know her. Through working together and her performing, I got to see her character and the things that she was passionate about. Those are things that I value.
What made him stand out to you?
One of the first times I saw him perform he used to carry around this traditional African walking stick and I used to be very afraid that he might get beat up in the parking lot. He dared to say something controversial, but I liked that whatever he said, he would speak his mind.
Your love story?
She came to one of my events and the next day she left me a voicemail on what she thought was wrong. I couldn't believe that this person had the audacity to point out what was wrong with my event so I called her back. I found out that she is a dancer. She felt that the show was missing dance, so I put her in the next one and we've been working together ever since.
